Krystie e99413150e [glm-grade=B] fix: dead dashboard WS, corrupted error.log, auth-polling storm, re-auth freeze + CVE bumps
CI / Test & Lint (push) Canceled after 0s
CI / Security audit (push) Canceled after 0s
Adversarial audit 2026-08-16 (GLM-5.3 delegate, 2 rounds, 141 tool calls):

P0-1: Dashboard WebSocket (/api/v1/ws) dead on EVERY boot since DC-076.
server.js passed module exports (DependencyManager class, {AutoRestartManager}
namespace, SSLMonitor class) instead of createApp()'s live instances — first
.on() threw ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE, catch swallowed it. Fix: app.locals.ctx
exposed in src/app.js; server.js passes all 8 real EventEmitter instances.

P0-2: error.log corrupted since 2026-07-14. errorMiddleware called
logError(FILE, SIZE, path, err, meta) — 5 args into a 3-arg wrapper —
logging 'Error: 5242880' garbage every ~60s and DISCARDING the real error
object. Fix: correct 3-arg call + legacy-shape guard in logErrorWrapper +
~74 log.error sites swept to pass real error objects (AST-verified scope-
safe 71/71, 29/29 modules load clean).

P0-3: auth-polling storm (stranded grade=B commit never landed in prod):
401/403 behind TOTP gate hammered /api/v1/services/status + SSE reconnect
every 2-8s, with misleading direct-probe fallback marking services 'up'.
Fix landed + B-round MEDIUM follow-up: TOTP re-auth success now clears
_dcAuthLost, resumes SSE (new _sseResume clears the latch), and refreshes.

Also: eslintignore static-sites/ (33→0 errors); nodemailer 8→9.0.5 and
sharp 0.33→0.35.3 (3 high CVEs killed; jest green on new majors);
dockerode@5/uuid deferred (semver-major, Docker API surface).

Verification: 80/80 suites, 1837/1837 tests; ESLint 0 errors/743 warnings;
node --check all changed files; bundles rebuilt + SW cache bumped.

Judges: Codex quota-dead until Aug 19 (verified live) — GLM adversarial
delegate per operator directive 2026-08-07. Round 1: 98-call mechanical
verification (timed out pre-verdict). Round 2 (this grade): B, one MEDIUM
(re-auth freeze) — fixed in this commit as prescribed.

Hermes a667de7920 DC-059: Joi validation middleware + schemas for destructive routes
CI / Test & Lint (push) Has been cancelled
CI / Security audit (push) Has been cancelled
[grade=B]

- New src/utilities/validate.js: validateBody(schema) middleware + 9 schemas
  (backupConfigUpdate, backupScheduleCreate, backupRestore, backupRestoreFile,
   appDeploy, appRestore, appRevert, assetUpload, logoUpload)
- Uses Joi's authoritative CIDR validator (rejects malformed IPv6 like ::::/64
that the previous hex/colon regex would have accepted)
- appDeploy.config uses .unknown(true) for forward-compat with template-specific
fields (sslType, dnsType, plexClaimToken, etc.) — preserves fields the live
frontend posts, prevents a behavioural regression
- appRestore uses Joi.any().custom() so the empty-body semantics hold under
middleware stripUnknown (default) — body with extra keys now rejected
- Wired into 8 destructive routes: backups schedule/restore/config, apps
  deploy/restore/revert, assets upload/logo
- Duplicate legacy POST /backups/schedule handler (line 519) marked LEGACY
with TODO removal note (Express only matches first registration; this
handler is unreachable under normal routing)
- Removed redundant manual appId check in /backups/schedule (Joi schema
  enforces it)
- Removed unused 'mime' destructure in /assets/favicon (decodeImageData
  validates MIME internally)
- 41 unit tests covering every exported schema + middleware integration
- 1539/1539 Jest tests pass, zero new ESLint warnings

Hermes 1c02131fe0 fix(server): DC-058 close 3 P0 bugs — restore.js missing dep, dns.js ok ref, dead /billing/checkout
CI / Test & Lint (push) Has been cancelled
CI / Security audit (push) Has been cancelled
1. routes/apps/restore.js: backupManager was being passed by the
aggregator (routes/apps/index.js:58) but never destructured in the
factory signature. Every apps/restore request 500'd with
ReferenceError. Added backupManager to the destructure + an explicit
throw if missing so the next regression surfaces at startup instead
   of at the first call.

2. routes/dns.js:555: file imports { success, error } from
../src/utils/responses but used ok(res, ...) (defunct alias). DNS
credential save path 500'd. Changed to success() to match the rest
   of the file.

3. src/utilities/middleware.js: deleted /api/v1/billing/checkout from
PUBLIC_ROUTES — dead entry, no route mounted. Drift test caught it
(DC-017 guard). Updated the comment to cover both checkout + webhook
   as removed.

Tests: 1428/1428 pass (drift test now green).
Lint: 0 no-undef errors across src/ + routes/ (was 7).

Hermes c39c80b3ad Fix DC-005 depth-2 route path bugs: 67 broken requires across 21 files
CI / Test & Lint (push) Has been cancelled
CI / Security audit (push) Has been cancelled
The DC-005 src/ refactor left depth-2 route files (routes/auth/*,
routes/recipes/*, routes/apps/*, routes/arr/*, routes/config/*) with
broken require() paths. A filesystem-resolving scanner found 67 broken
requires across 21 files — three distinct bug classes:

  A) '../../../src/...' (3 levels up, above package root) — Bug 7, ~49 occurrences
  B) '../src/utils/...' (1 level up, resolves to nonexistent routes/src/) — ~15 occurrences
  C) routes/apps/restore.js:5 used utilities/responses (wrong dir) — should be utils/responses

All fixed to '../../src/...' (or '../../src/utils/responses' for class C).
routes/auth/totp.js was already fixed in the DC-006 commit.

Post-fix: 922/922 tests pass, zero new ESLint warnings. No logic changes —
purely mechanical require() path corrections.

Hermes 7bc2a207f3 DC-005: Fix all 138 broken test paths after src/ refactor
After the DC-005 module reorganization (41 files moved into src/ subdirs),
138 test suites failed because the refactor script's path-rewrite logic
missed three categories:

1. Files inside src/ doing 'require("./src/...")' — should be 'require("../...")'
2. Files in src/X/Y/ doing 'require("../../../src/...")' — should be 'require("../../...")'
3. Test files in __tests__/ with leftover 'require("../../../src/...")' paths

Root cause: the original refactor script ran before all files were moved,
so it computed relative paths against stale filesystem state.

Result:
- 30/30 test suites pass
- 879/879 tests pass (was: 18/30 suites, 614/687 tests)

Also fixed:
- routes/apps/restore.js: wrong responses import path
- routes/*/*.js: '../../src/utilities/X' → '../src/utilities/X' (depth 2 routes)

Hermes 53680c4c74 v1.13.4: Standardize all route responses to use response helpers
CI / Test & Lint (push) Has been cancelled
CI / Security audit (push) Has been cancelled
Convert ~160 raw res.json()/res.status().json() calls across 32+ files
to use centralized helpers from src/utils/responses.js (ok, errorResponse,
successMessage, notFound, validationError, forbidden, unauthorized, conflict).

No behavior changes — response shapes are identical. Future schema changes
(e.g., requestId envelope) only need to update one module.

Fix error vs errorResponse signature mismatch in routes/health.js CA cert
endpoint where error(res, message, statusCode) was being called with
errorResponse(res, statusCode, message, extras) argument order.

Files changed: middleware.js, csrf-protection.js, error-handler.js,
license-manager.js, src/app.js, and 27 route files.

Test suite: 755 pass / 4 pre-existing failures (services credential tests).

Hermes bda08b592e fix: idempotent Caddy subpath config, increase Docker pull timeout to 120s, extend health check to 60s
CI / Test & Lint (push) Has been cancelled
CI / Security audit (push) Has been cancelled
- helpers.js: treat 'No changes to apply' as success (config already exists = idempotent)
- constants.js: Docker pull timeout 30s → 120s (large images need more time)
- deploy.js: health check 40s → 60s (some apps like filebrowser are slow to start)

Hermes 2de72ed506 feat: DNS provider abstraction — Technitium, Cloudflare, RFC 2136, Manual
CI / Test & Lint (push) Has been cancelled
CI / Security audit (push) Has been cancelled
- dns-providers/: adapter base class + registry with auto-discovery
- technitium.js: wraps existing Technitium API calls into adapter interface
- cloudflare.js: Cloudflare API v4 adapter (zones, records, credentials)
- rfc2136.js: RFC 2136 dynamic DNS via nsupdate (BIND, PowerDNS, etc.)
- manual.js: no-op adapter for external DNS management with instructions
- provider-dns.js: provider-aware DNS context, resolves active adapter from config
- Universal helper methods: universalCreateRecord/Delete/ResolveRecord
- All 7 route files updated to use universal methods instead of raw dns.call()
- Setup wizard: provider dropdown (Technitium, Cloudflare, RFC 2136, Manual)
- DNS template selector: added Cloudflare and External/Manual options
- Config schema: validates dns.provider field
- Capability gating on Technitium-specific endpoints (logs, restart, update)
- Backward compatible: no provider set = auto-detect (technitium if dns.ip exists)

Hermes e07375f642 fix: mount openclaw routes at /openclaw prefix + fix docker.client wrapper + strip duplicate /apps/ paths across sub-routers
- openClawRoutes was mounted at root causing /status vs /openclaw/status mismatch
- ctx.docker is a typed wrapper {client,pull,...} — all calls now use docker.client.*
- templates/deploy/removal/restore sub-routers had /apps/ hardcoded in inner routes
  causing double-stacking when mounted under /apps (→ /apps/apps/templates etc)
- openclaw.js: GET /status, POST /deploy, GET/POST /proxy/*, DELETE /

SamiandClaude Opus 4.6 f865790fe1 fix(routes): restore ctx access in 15 route files broken by Phase 2.1 refactor
The modular refactor changed function signatures to destructured deps but
left internal ctx.* references intact, causing "ctx is not defined" errors
on /api/config, /api/logo, and many other endpoints. Also implements
loadTotpConfig and saveTotpConfig which were left as stubs.

SamiandClaude Opus 4.6 e615f24627 Add Docker hygiene, deployment manifests, and daily log digest
Prevents Docker disk bloat by adding log rotation (10MB max, 3 files)
to all container creation and update paths, auto-pruning dangling
images after deploy/remove/update, and a daily maintenance module
that cleans build cache and warns on disk thresholds.

Saves a deployment manifest in services.json at deploy time so users
can restore all their apps after a Docker purge. Adds restore-all
and restore-single endpoints that recreate containers, Caddy config,
and DNS records from the saved manifests.

Adds an hourly log collector and daily digest generator that
summarizes errors, warnings, and events across all services into
a single human-readable report with guidance on where to investigate.
